Raising the profile of the Bible in political thinking and debate is crucial if we want to change society. Working with the CHRISTIANS IN PARLIAMENT (CiP) (opens in a new window) – the official All-Party Group for the Christian community in the Palace of Westminster, Bible Society will play a key role in developing and supporting scriptural perspectives on contemporary issues.

Through our work in this sphere, it is envisaged that Christian activity in Westminster will be galvanised and that scriptural reference will once again become an important component of political discussion.

Working within the Palace of Westminister, Bible Society draw together Members of Parliament, Peers and staff for monthly worship.  Bible Society run a weekly programme of Bible Studies designed to help politicians sustain and develop a biblical worldview of their work.  Bible Society are helping them to find a language with which to express their faith in political debate.
